The Mouth in Motion: Speaking and Swallowing
Université de MontpellierMontpellier
About
In our mouth, when we speak or swallow, there is a true invisible choreography taking place. Through real-time MRI images, this workshop will allow you to discover the movements of the tongue, the soft palate, the larynx, and other organs that make speech and swallowing possible.
Through videos, visual aids, and games, both young and old will be able to explore how their vocal apparatus works, understand how the sounds of speech are produced, and discover why swallowing is a mechanism of remarkable precision.
To be found in the Hall.
