About
Daniel Yabut, research engineer at CNRS and member of IRCL, specializing in the history of books and theater in the 16th and 17th centuries, will present an exhibition of old books, engravings, and manuscripts, along with a demonstration of the use of an infrared/ultraviolet microscope, a tool for identifying or deciphering ancient works. There will also be a paleography workshop in French and English using quills cut like in the 17th century and ink made from pigments similar to those used at the time.
