ApiSONART

"Listening hives" have been designed following an investigation with beekeepers in Ariège and the Hautes-Pyrénées in collaboration with a sound artist. Listening to their colonies, they attempt to establish a sensory connection with their bees to better understand them. Through this sound creation, you gain access to what is inaudible beneath, the sounds of the bees and their environment: a sensitive experience of the life of a hive at a given moment. Resources will be made available to the public, including an educational booklet and explanatory sheets about the project. You will also be able to discover a real hive in a mediation workshop to raise awareness about beekeeping activities.
Project funded by MIRANDA SRC.
To be found in the Hall.
