The Ecology of Rare Species: Rarity in (Re)imagined Ecosystems

The duo Petiole (composed of artist Antía Iglesias and ecologist Marion Boisseaux) has embarked on imagining new plant species to better understand "functionally rare" species. This research has resulted in a kinetic mobile made from bio-sourced materials, where science and creation converse, an invitation to feel the fragility of life.
