TUE OCTOBER 6
SOFTWARE OF AR(T)CADE
About
Souvenirs d’Ar(t)cade invites the public to discover the creative-research work of international artist Tatiana Vilela dos Santos through a playable exhibition where the artworks can be manipulated and played. Exploring the connection between art, video games, and controllers, the exhibition questions the aesthetic and playful relationship to interactivity and the materiality of video games. This retrospective showcases how the artist, alongside Olivier Drouet, has been subverting the material and cultural codes of the arcade since 2012 to imagine new forms of play where the control object becomes a central element of the experience.
Organized as part of Game ARC (Rirra 21) funded by MIRANDA ASI
