Art Knife-Making Workshops: Forging or Stock Removal

Welcome to the Meignoz Forges&Lames workshop for a complete immersion in the world of knife-making! I offer you two approaches to create your own knife or bottle opener:

The Art of Forging: Learn to heat the steel and hammer it on the anvil to bring your blade or bottle opener to life. A raw and ancestral sensory experience.

Stock Removal: A modern technique focused on design and precision. Here, we draw and sculpt the blade directly from the steel through technical sanding (abrasion).

Whichever option you choose, we will cover heat treatments, sharpening, and handle assembly together. Workshops are accessible to beginners. All materials and protective gear are provided.

Reservation is mandatory at least 2 days in advance.

Rates: Rates depend on the chosen service:

Forged bottle opener in 3 hours: 110 euros
1 day medieval-style forged knife: 280 euros
1 day straight knife in stock removal: 245 euros
2 days forged flat sole knife: 390 euros.
