ISRAEL AND MOHAMED

The first is involved in theater, film, and documentary-inspired installations. The second is a virtuoso and iconoclastic flamenco dancer.

By placing their first names side by side, Mohamed El Khatib and Israel Galván attempt to bridge their worlds and artistic practices as well as their personal journeys.

Together, they seek a common language based on the body, its wounds, and its scars. Starting from their meeting, sharing their intimate, familial, and professional stories, they explore in duet what a living archive and a documentary dance would be.
