PARADOXE

Guillaume Vincent and Florence Janas blend reality and imagination to explore, with humor and delicacy, the mourning of a mother. In this duo that is both clownish and moving, they embody the beloved and absent figures, bringing forth from intimate stories a human fresco that is as funny as it is touching. The scenes and characters succeed and collide with genius.

The play subverts the tragic with laughter and celebrates theater as a space of freedom and jubilation. And in this peculiar exercise of anticipatory mourning, humor is never a way to avoid emotion.

The performance includes a scene of nudity, strobe effects, gunshots, and smoke.
