To close this 31st edition, the festival welcomes an artist whose influence far exceeds the borders of her continent. A major figure in world music, Angélique Kidjo embodies openness, cultural dialogue, and the unifying energy that drives the Internationales de la Guitare.

Originally from Benin, Angélique Kidjo has been captivating audiences around the world for over thirty years. A multiple Grammy Award winner and recipient of the prestigious Polar Music Prize, she has created a rich body of work where African music interacts with jazz, soul, funk, pop, and Latin rhythms. Her latest album, HOPE!!, continues this quest for fusion and encounters, driven by a stage energy that has become her signature.

For this exceptional evening, the guitar will hold a special place thanks to the presence of Amen Viana, a virtuoso guitarist and loyal stage companion of Angélique Kidjo. His incandescent playing, influenced by blues, rock, and African music, will converse with the singer's voice in a concert where instrumental virtuosity will be fully celebrated.

A festival closing that reflects this great artist: generous, radiant, and resolutely open to the world.

The first part will be performed by the Montpellier folk quartet Éclot, winner of the Tremplin 2026 of the Internationales de la Guitare.
