YAMANDU COSTA CONCERT

On Wednesday, October 7th, at the Opéra Comédie, the Internationales de la Guitare gives carte blanche to the artist associated with this edition for an exceptional evening. For this occasion, the great Yamandu Costa, an essential figure in contemporary Brazilian music and the seven-string guitar, will gather around him some of the greatest personalities in today's guitar scene.

Yamandu Costa impresses with his spectacular technique as much as with his musical sensitivity. Nourished by choro, samba, tango, and popular music from South America, he has developed a free and deeply inhabited playing style for over twenty years, acclaimed on stages around the world.

Alongside him, Antoine Boyer, a French guitarist at the crossroads of gypsy jazz, classical, and world music. Revealed at a very young age for his immense technical mastery and sense of improvisation, he has established himself as one of the most unique guitarists of his generation.

The audience will also find Thibault Cauvin, a traveling artist and performer known for his sensitive and luminous playing. A regular on the biggest international stages, he champions an open and accessible vision of classical guitar, balancing virtuosity and emotion.

Finally, the Russian guitarist Vera Danilina, considered one of the brightest musicians of her generation, will complete this exceptional lineup. Admired for the precision of her playing and the intensity of her interpretations, she is now making her mark on major international stages.
