CONCERT H-BURNS & THE STRANGER QUARTET

Author, composer, and performer, H-Burns has been gracing stages for nearly 20 years, guitar in hand. It is through folk-rock music that his warm and smooth voice has become known, influenced by the legendary figures of the sixties such as Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.

With Burns on the Wire, he pays tribute to Leonard Cohen with a selection of essential tracks that have marked the success of his early albums. He is accompanied by his multi-instrumentalist friend and arranger Antoine Pinet.

For strings and vocals, he will be joined by the virtuosic women of the Stranger Quartet. Their clear, melodic, and penetrating voices will blend harmoniously with H-Burns' own.

Far from distorting the original works, this delightful mix brings just the right amount of body, power, and melancholy to the compositions of the Canadian poet, drawn from the heart of great records.
