Come and explore the history of this Montpellier family home through a guided tour of the castle, its salons, and its collections. A unique opportunity to discover the architecture, heritage, and significant milestones in the history of the estate.
Practical information:
Price: €5 per person (flat rate)
Tour departures: 11am, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm
Please note: the 3pm slot is exceptionally offered only in French. No English slot will be available.
Access to the gardens is free and open all weekend, from 9:30am to 7pm.
►Saturday only: free historical conferences
In partnership with the C.R.I.S.E.S. laboratory – Paul-Valéry University Montpellier III, three short-format historical conferences will take place in the afternoon:
3:00pm: From ship to castle: the fates of Languedoc naval officers (1792-1830)
By Natacha Abriat, heritage curator, Occitanie Region.
3:45pm: Discovering the Adolphe Gilles collection: telling the story of the Montpellier opera through archives
By Sarah Queyrut, PhD student in contemporary history.
4:30pm: The nostalgia of the Sahara: letters from Africa by René de Saizieu (1898-1972)
By Romain Daudé, historian in charge of the collections at Flaugergues castle.
The conferences are accessible for free, with online reservation.
