LYRICA AT FLAUGERGUES

Through a transdisciplinary program, the show weaves a vibrant connection between lyrical singing (opera arias, operettas, and melodies), great jazz standards, and tap dancing.

The voice unfolds to the rhythm of the tap shoes, the great pages of song engage in dialogue with the energy of percussive dance, while the piano creates an elegant and rhythmic soundscape. With grace and flair, music and movement intertwine in a sparkling staging.

On stage, a talented and virtuosic quartet brings together pianist Charlotte GAUTHIER, with her agile and inspired fingers, Dorel and Costel SURBECK, exceptional brothers and artists, fifteen-time world champions of tap dancing, and singer Mathilde LEMAIRE.

Their talent, infectious energy, and sense of artistic dialogue offer a unique and joyful musical moment: a recital where the voice dances and the steps sing.
