ANOTHER LOOK

On the occasion of Philip Glass's 90th birthday in 2027, Another Look offers a spectacular immersion into the world of the American composer and musical minimalism. The eighteen singers of the choir Les Métaboles, accompanied by the organ of Yoan Héreau, perform Another Look at Harmony – Part IV, an emblematic work where repetitive motifs, moving harmonies, and resonances inspired by Gregorian chant create a hypnotic listening state. Opening with Andrea Basili's Canon for sixteen voices sets a suspended atmosphere before giving way to a striking spatial arrangement: three immense discs become projection surfaces where images and music engage in a constant dialogue. An immersive experience that resonates with both ears and eyes, inviting one to be carried away by time, light, and sound.
