HUNGER

Created at L'Archipel as part of the Aujourd'hui Musiques festival, Hunger is a creation by Franck Vigroux that blends dance, live music, visual arts, and opera into a unique stage form. Alongside dancer François Malbranque, the composer explores themes of uprooting, exodus, and social fractures through the journey of a character faced with the necessity to leave in order to survive. On stage, the body, light, moving objects, and music interact to create an immersive experience, where each element contributes to telling a story of resistance and transformation. Between physical tension, sonic power, and striking images, Hunger questions the multiple faces of hunger — social, existential, and vital.
