About
Add anto.info to your preferred sourcesThis exhibition, designed and loaned by the Amicale du maquis Bir Hakeim, traces the journey of some of its resistors. This maquis-school created in Toulouse in 1942 was transferred in 1943 to Hérault. It grew in numbers and expanded into the Cévennes of Gard and Lozère, then towards Clermontais.
On August 26, 1944, the maquis Bir Hakeim participated in the liberation of Montpellier.
