Classical Music Concert – Three Composers in 1850

Immerse yourself in the music of three exceptional female composers. Louise Farrenc, Clara Schumann, and Clémence de Grandval all forged careers as musicians and composers in a time when women's roles in the musical world were still quite limited.

On the program:

• Sonata No. 2 in A Major by Louise Farrenc

• Three Romances by Clara Schumann

• Grand Sonata in G Minor by Clémence de Grandval

Three works that showcase the richness and diversity of women's musical creation in the 19th century.

The concert will feature Laurence Martinaud, a baroque violinist and member of the Ensemble Baroque de Toulouse, and Michael Cook, an international pianist and lyrical conductor based in Occitanie.

A meeting and educational concert aimed at the youth of the MJC de Técou.
