Rooted in the traditions of Mississippi blues, the repertoire is enriched with folk influences and African textures, while allowing for contemporary songwriting. On stage, the four musicians prioritize groove, nuance, and emotion to bring to life a generous and sensitive blues.
In the first part, The Midnight Drifters, a duo formed by Anita Fabiani and Federico Verteramo, present a repertoire at the crossroads of jazz and blues. Originally from Buenos Aires and now based in Toulouse, the two artists mix covers of great names like Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, B.B. King, or Nina Simone with their own personal compositions.
