Opening Night of Hangart

To kick off its new season, Hangart celebrates the fifth anniversary of its performance hall with an evening dedicated to connection, music, and festivity.

The program opens with the choirs La Chanfare (Infinitiff association) and La Voix (Conservatory of Music and Dance of Tarn), conducted by Antoine Redon. They offer a journey through songs from around the world, from traditional Africa to the Balkans, passing through Italy and folk America.

The duo Tarab y Duende, formed by Lakhdar Hanou on oud and Morgan Astruc on flamenco guitar, then takes the stage. Drawing from the Arab-Andalusian heritage, their repertoire blends original compositions and flamenco traditions in a musical dialogue between the East and the Mediterranean.

The evening will continue with a DJ set by DJ Waves, inviting the audience to share a festive and dancing moment. It will also be an opportunity to meet the Hangart team and discover the shows, concerts, artistic residencies, and projects that will shape the upcoming season.
