Add anto.info to your preferred sourcesDana Cojbuc, born in 1979 in Romania. A graduate of the Fine Arts in Bucharest, she now lives in Paris and enjoys a certain notoriety in France and increasingly abroad.
After developing a purely photographic work for several years, she made a unique and sensitive transition to drawing. From her own prints, she redefines the boundaries of photography and reinvents the subject through drawing.
As part of the Bicentennial of Photography, the Centre for Photography will exhibit her black-and-white work in Gaillac, and she is expected to intervene on one of her images in situ.
In partnership, the Atelier Gallery in Montauban will showcase Dana Cojbuc's color photographs.
On Friday, September 25, there will be an opening of the exhibition in the presence of the artist. Dana Cojbuc will intervene on one of her photographs, a performance that will be followed by a meeting and an aperitif.
Free visits every weekend. Weekday visits possible by appointment (call directly).
