CLEAN BEACHES OPERATION

Operation "Clean Beaches" – World Cleanup Day

On the occasion of World Cleanup Day, the City of Canet-en-Roussillon is organizing a large beach and dune cleaning operation.

📅 Join us on September 20 at 9:30 AM
📍 Parking at Naudo Beach Club

The operation will take place in the area between Naudo Beach Club and the Pont des Basses, near the fishermen's huts.

Everyone united for a waste-free planet!
Citizens, schools, associations, local authorities, businesses… we are all concerned and can act together to preserve our environment and coastline.

The Town Hall of Canet-en-Roussillon will provide participants with grabbers and trash bags to facilitate the collection.

For your safety and comfort, please remember to bring:
🧤 Gloves, preferably suitable for picking up waste
🦺 A reflective vest, especially to be easily visible
🪣 Possibly, buckets or specific containers for certain waste (chemical products, soiled containers…) and to collect cigarette butts (a plastic bottle can be used for this purpose)
🧢 A cap or hat
💧 A water bottle

Every action counts!
Together, let’s mobilize for a cleaner coastline and a waste-free planet.
