Add anto.info to your preferred sourcesA graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and a former student of Sciences Po Strasbourg, Pierre Manenti worked for several years in Parliament and in various ministerial offices before joining EDF. After a stint at the National Assembly and the Senate as a parliamentary collaborator and group advisor, he spent six years in ministerial offices as a parliamentary advisor and then technical advisor at the Ministry of Ecological Transition (2018-2020), political advisor in charge of elected officials and territories at the Ministry of Housing (2020-2022), and finally deputy chief of staff at the Ministry of Territorial Collectivities and Rural Affairs (2022-2024).
With a background in history, he is also the author of five books: "Histoire du gaullisme social" (2021) and "Albin Chalandon. Le dernier baron du gaullisme" (2023) published by Perrin, as well as "Les Barons du gaullisme" (2024), "Charles Pasqua. Dans l'ombre de la République" (2025), and "Le RPR, une certaine idée de la droite" (2026) published by Passés composés. He chairs the scientific council of the Charles de Gaulle Memorial in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises.
Since 2024, he has been an advisor to the executive director of the EDF Group, overseeing nuclear and thermal production.
