Revealed at the Festival Off d’Avignon 2023, The Color of Memories, written and directed by Fabio Marra, delves into the poignant intimacy of a man and his family secrets.

On Vittorio's cheek, a failed and cantankerous painter, lies the indelible pain of a slap received in childhood. Long buried, this memory resurfaces abruptly when he learns that an illness will leave him blind. His defenses crumble, revealing a man overwhelmed by his family history. Dominique Pinon excels as a deeply wounded soul that nothing can soothe: neither his son Luca (Fabio Marra) nor his sister Clara, who loves him dearly (the formidable Catherine Arditi).
