Directed and designed by Charles Templon, assisted by Félix Beaupérin
Francis Huster returns to the Théâtre Jean Piat in a moving and tumultuous role – that of a therapist on the brink of the abyss, overwhelmed by his patients and his own life.
As he tries to help his patients avoid sinking, it is his own life that is faltering.
Each session becomes a mirror of his flaws, regrets, and humanity, while at the same time his patients, whose lives are slipping away, await his help.
Adapted from the cult series BeTipul, In Therapy explores the hidden side of those who confide and the one who brings them to light. Intimate conversations, power struggles, as the material is human and fragile, and life's accidents exacerbate the passions that were thought to be forbidden in the plush office of a therapist.
An intense closed-door drama, driven by sharp writing and taut direction, where the intimate becomes universal.
