Educational Outing: Hidden Treasures of the Dunes

The journey begins at the parking lot of the Domaine de Guidou in Sciez.
1st stop: walking through the dry and wet meadows of La Grande Corne.
2nd stop: the students will cross a new environment, the woods of the Domaine de Coudrée.
Finally, the observations conclude on the beach of the bay, recently restored to its natural state.
Throughout the journey, the themes addressed will be:
• Natural habitats, dry and wet meadows, permanent ponds and reed beds, the lake and the formation of sand dunes,
• The stakes of this fragile habitat, classified as NATURA 2000 "Lac Léman" and the reconciliation of uses,
• Biodiversity: How to ensure the maintenance or restoration of natural environments, wild species, animal and plant, recognized as of European interest.
