CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: INTERGENERATIONAL SHOW - "IT'S TRUE THAT IT'S GOOD WHEN IT'S SUCCESSFUL"

The show features the takeover of a space by a collective of women, determined to create an alternative society in a world where men are disappearing for unknown reasons.
It is a participatory comedy that involves local residents in its creation process and during performances.

CONTENT

• ACTING: Creation and filming of fake TV reports featuring local residents (we'll call them TV SNIPPETS). These reports will be broadcast during the show and the intermission. Their goal is to create a sense of reality and integrate into the fiction of "It's true that it's good when it's successful," namely the panic surrounding the disappearance of men and the reactions of citizens regarding the takeover of the space by a group of activist women.

• SEWING: Making an eco-feminist banner that will accompany the entire show. Together, we will find a slogan that defends Life and Beauty. Each participant will be responsible for one or more letter patterns. We will work on assembling and sewing everything together.

✦ Number of participants: open to 15 participants
✦ Intergenerational, from 18 years old (children from 8 years old if accompanied by a parent)

✦ SCHEDULE
FIRST MEETING (A HALF-DAY OF 3 HOURS)

• Presentation of the project by the actresses / Reading of the text from "It's true that it's good when it's successful"

• First acting workshop to meet and provide material for writing the TV reports
  THREE MEETINGS OF 4 HOURS EACH (TOTAL OF 12 HOURS)

• Two hours dedicated to rehearsing the TV snippets*

• Two hours dedicated to making the banner*

• possibility to participate in only one of the two proposed workshops
  A FILMING DAY FOR TWO TO THREE TV SNIPPETS IN CANET-EN-ROUSSILLON

• INVITATION TO THE ARTISTIC TEAM'S RESIDENCY SHOW AT THE JEAN PIAT THEATER
