An incredible night. A journey through time…
1942, in occupied France, seven friends gather at the Pélissier's for a birthday dinner. The evening is going well when two German officers are shot at the foot of the building. As retaliation, Commander Kaubach of the Gestapo storms the building to demand two hostages from each apartment. But when he recognizes Victor Pélissier, a bookseller he frequents and whose advice he values, he grants the guests a "courtesy" of two hours to choose the two hostages who will be executed. The Meal of the Beasts can begin…
