The original canvases can be seen at the Musée d’Art Moderne - Yves Brayer at the Maison du Grand Fauconnier.
Yves Brayer (1907-1990) was one of the most important figurative painters of the 20th century. In 1940, he settled in Cordes with several painter and sculptor friends. They formed "l'Académie de Cordes". In 1976, he donated around twenty of his representative works to the town of Cordes sur Ciel: still lifes, landscapes, tapestries.
Offered as part of the departmental cultural events: "Explore. In 2026, culture walks through Tarn."
