CONFERENCE: CATALAN BOATS AND THE BOAT WORKSHOP AT THE HEART OF MARITIME HERITAGE

The speaker will present the Boat Workshop, created in 2010 by the Department, for the conservation, restoration, and
promotion of a collection of Mediterranean boats.

Bridging the past and present, the discussion will cover Catalan boats, the fishing practices they engaged in, as well as the
maritime culture inherited from the ancients, in an attempt to provide a comprehensive overview of maritime heritage.

A rich iconography, composed of old and contemporary photographs, will illustrate the presentation to encourage the public to come discover the Boat Workshop in Paulilles.
