The Café Asso de La Tendresse, for its first musical evening of the season, is part of the programming and initiative of the Festival Les Fourmilières by hosting The Silence of the Slippers performed by Cécile Jersaillon and Antoine Chao.

THE SILENCE OF THE SLIPPERS - NOiSE RADiOSONiQUE DUO
“Worse than the sound of boots, the silence of slippers,” a radiosonic performance in reaction to the rise of fascism in France and beyond. Created in March 2025.
For experimental guitars, pedals, degraded trumpet, donkey jaw, megaphone, and radio archives. Featuring:

• Antoine Chao / radio producer (Mano Negra, Royal de Luxe, Là bas si j’y suis, C’est bientôt demain)

"I therefore dissolve the National Assembly this evening." On Sunday, June 9, 2024, after the announcement of the results of the European elections, President Emmanuel Macron announces the dissolution of the National Assembly. A high-risk decision that could see the far-right take the prize. On July 7, the Nouveau Front Populaire comes out on top in the second round of the early legislative elections, but Macron locks himself in the cockpit and refuses to align his decisions with popular aspirations; the national rally becomes the master of the game. Far-right media rejoice, stoke hatred of the other, and call the elevator for the fascists. A few months later, "America is back," across the Atlantic, another sick individual takes power. The duo "Trumpsk" sets the tempo for the worst of America.

Les Fourmilières is a solidarity and antifascist festival. The festival is decentralized, meaning that many events will take place in different locations in Aude, Hérault, Gard, Lozère, Ardèche, Bouches-du-Rhône, and Aveyron.
