The Hour of Marie: The Blue Swan Guild takes over the Municipal Theatre of Perpignan

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 8:30 PM, the artistic company The Blue Swan Guild, the soul of dance, will occupy the Jordi Pere Cerdà Municipal Theatre, Place de la République in Perpignan, a heritage gem in the heart of the city, for a reimagined and unique performance of its choreographic show, The Hour of Marie.

Designed in three acts and choreographed by Sarah Mesquida, The Hour of Marie pays tribute to Marie, a universal feminine figure, brought to life through a carefully crafted photographic and pictorial staging. The performance intertwines fluid dance movements with sequences imbued with martial rigor, to convey a state of deep inner peace.

The Blue Swan Guild, the soul of dance, is the artistic branch of Women International Broken Walls (FIMB), a global support network founded in 1990 by Evelyne Mesquida.

This apolitical and non-denominational "network of networks" brings together committed women and men from around the world around common issues and a desire to build bridges rather than walls.

On stage, the troupe unites artists of various ages and body types, in an approach that advocates harmony and peace, breaking free from classical aesthetic standards.
