THE OFF AT 1000 FORMES

1000 Formes Montpellier is an art center entirely dedicated to the artistic awakening of children aged 0 to 6, while welcoming their families and early childhood professionals. Located in the heart of Montpellier, this free and accessible venue offers an innovative approach to artistic discovery, specifically designed for the very young.

Designed as a space for sensory and creative exploration, 1000 Formes invites young children to engage with art through play, manipulation, and experimentation. The immersive installations, interactive pathways, and age-appropriate devices stimulate their natural curiosity and encourage a first sensitive encounter with artworks and artistic forms.

This is why the IGs are partnering with 1000 Formes to present the show The Blue Roll of Water, imagined by the Pic & Colegram company. This poetic and sensory creation invites young children on a gentle journey, blending music, sounds, and visual universes for an immersive artistic experience tailored to their sensitivity.

The Blue Roll of Water is a small format of the show And the Song of Whales, a musical and visual creation designed specifically for very young audiences (from a few months to 6 years old). The performance offers a sensitive and contemplative stroll: the musicians play the flute, hurdy-gurdy, cello, and sound objects to create delicate sound textures.
