THOUSAND FORMS - SEASON 2

From September 16, 2026, to February 21, 2027, mille formes Montpellier opens its Season 2! Inspired by Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni, it invites children aged 0-6 and their caregivers to mix colors, ideas, and emotions.

A common thread: Little Blue and Little Yellow
The book by Leo Lionni, a classic of children's literature since 1970, runs through the entire season. Two spots of color that meet, mix, and become inseparable: an invitation to play, marvel, and create together.

3 exhibitions and a mini-museum, free access
Paul Cox's construction game transforms La Galerie into a huge construction site of wooden and foam blocks (from 2 years old). Émilie Queney's Weaving Freely offers a collective weaving machine (from 3 years old). Living the Shapes of the Crafties unfolds a felt landscape for the little ones (0-2 years old). And the mini-museum ("Le MiMu") returns in a second edition entirely designed by children from the La Fontaine and La Martelle leisure centers, featuring works from the reserves of the Fabre Museum, Lattara, and Frac Occitanie Montpellier.

Regular events from the first months of life
4 workshops punctuate the season: introduction to circus arts with the Balthazar Circus Arts Center, readings in La Cabane, prenatal singing, and baby singing.

Highlights throughout the season
European Heritage Days, International Guitar Festival, Festival for the Awakening of the Little Ones, national highlight of the PUNCH puppet, Occitan Martror festival, end-of-year Baby Disco… and on February 6 and 7, 2027, mille formes celebrates its first birthday!

Outside the walls
Two itinerant programs circulate in the Maisons pour Tous from October to February: Carpet in the Light by Clémentine Carsberg, in dialogue with the work of Pierre Soulages, and In the Forest, baby station by Marion Barraud.
