European Heritage Days - Visit to Lou Viel Castel

Costumed volunteers will welcome you at the castle.
Climb the path leading to the castle and discover the tumultuous history of the Lords of La Guépie, which has stirred the valley from the 12th century to the Revolution.

The visit to the monument offers a magnificent view of the Viaur valley and the villages.
The castle retains superb elements of 17th-century architecture that are worth a look.

Since 1998, the Lou Viel Castel association has been working to preserve, animate, and transmit the remnants of history.
