UPCO FASHION WEEK

From August 29 to September 5, Montpellier will host the second edition of UpCo Fashion Week, a festival dedicated to more responsible, creative, and sustainable fashion.

Led by the local collective Upcycling Connexion, the event celebrates second-hand items, upcycling, and repair, with a goal: to consume less, but better.

The kickoff will take place on August 29 at the Musée Fabre's forecourt, featuring a fashion show of upcycled creations, accompanied by music and artistic performances.

Throughout the week, workshops, exhibitions, clothing swaps, designer markets, and participatory events will invite the public to rethink their wardrobe. Highlights include a custom bar with Hier Concept, an alternative fashion show presented by Nébuleuses, a Kintsugi workshop applied to textiles with Le Club des Simone, and a festive evening to close the event.

A week to discover a different way of experiencing fashion: more creative, more circular, and more engaged.
