Banished from England since his release from prison, exiled in Paris, without resources, abandoned, the brilliant writer Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) decides to give one last talk, hoping that the proceeds will earn him a few pennies.

The master of paradox, the philosopher of beauty, the author of brilliant comedies, regains some of his former glory to share his thoughts on lies, art, and pleasure.

Before becoming more serious, reflecting on the circumstances of his downfall, of his trial for indecency. A confession in sum, not to justify himself, but as a challenge thrown, a plea to regain esteem and dignity.
