Boxer is the story of two boxers who, after fighting in the ring, come together to combat war. We are in the years of fascism and Nazism; World War II is at our doorstep. Eugenio is an Italian fleeing fascism, Victor a Tunisian fleeing poverty. One a socialist worker, the other Jewish.

Their destinies will unite in a boxing match scheduled in Paris, postponed due to the outbreak of war. But Eugenio and Victor are two athletes; they just want to box and achieve a better life. Exactly what the war forbids them.

Their personal struggle transforms into a collective revolution: Eugenio becomes the worker-boxer who fights for all exploited workers like him. Victor, the symbol of one who does not bow down even before Nazi-fascism.
