Balèti - Bal Folk with Castanha é Vinovèl

8 PM Dance initiation.

Then, at 9 PM, the evening will kick off with the orchestra Castanha é Vinovèl, a duo of musicians from Béziers formed in 2007.

They draw songs and dance tunes from the traditional Occitan repertoire. Hurdy-gurdy, accordion, singing, and rhythms combine to create a sound in the pure spirit of popular balèti. Castanha é Vinovèl encourage and invite the audience to dance, across all generations.
