Creative workshop for children aged 6 to 12.
Dive into the blues of the Mediterranean… Starting with the discovery of Julien Laporte's work, children will explore the richness and poetry of the shades of blue that make up his luminous landscapes.
First, they will observe the artist's works to identify and name the different shades of blue, then learn to distinguish primary and complementary colors using the color wheel.
Together, they will understand how composition and contrasts create the balance of a piece.
In the workshop, each child will create a Mediterranean landscape from black and white photocopies: it's up to them to bring in the color! Through mixing, layering, or experimentation, they will create their own palette of blues and choose a complementary color to enhance their composition.
A moment of sensory exploration, blending observation, learning, and creative freedom.
