EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS

As part of the European Heritage Days 2026, under the theme "Heritage at Risk", activities are offered around maritime heritage and Catalan fishing traditions.

Saturday, September 19:

From 10 AM to 6 PM > Els Mariners Cebrianencs – Installation of a fisherman's hut with a photographic exhibition inside.

The association will also offer, outside in front of the hut:

• A workshop for discovering and making marine knots

• A presentation and exploration of nets and fishing techniques.

From 3 PM to 5 PM > Éveil Rando – The association will offer several activities around maritime heritage and biodiversity:

• Workshop on discovering cetaceans and the Common Dolphin

• Interactive panel dedicated to sandy bottoms

• Fishermen's stories from Canet-en-Roussillon and Saint-Nazaire

• Discovery of the construction of "baracca"

• Cyanotype workshop on the theme of the sea.

From 3 PM to 5 PM > Association Nostra Mar – The association will offer two one-hour workshops, by reservation only, around a 3D model of the coastline of the Pyrénées-Orientales, allowing for a better understanding and discovery of our coastline.

Sunday, September 20:

From 10 AM to 6 PM > Els Mariners Cebrianencs – The fisherman's hut, the photographic exhibition, as well as the workshops on marine knots and fishing nets will be available to the public again.

From 3 PM to 5 PM – Artistic workshop on watercolor with a marine theme.
