EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS

As part of the European Heritage Days 2026, under the theme "Heritage at Risk", activities are offered around maritime heritage and Catalan fishing traditions.

Saturday, September 19, 2026
10 AM – 12 PM:
Finalization of the huts with public participation (Association Els Mariners Cebrianencs)

2 PM – 6 PM:
Demonstrations and discussions on maritime skills: knots, nets, presentation and history of the Catalan boat (Association Els Mariners Cebrianencs)

3 PM – 5 PM:
Educational workshops on the Mediterranean: discovering cetaceans, seabeds, history of fishermen, and creative activities (Association Eveil-Rando)
Coastal model workshop of the Pyrénées-Orientales (Association Nostra Mar)
2 workshops of 1 hour by registration (10 to 12 people maximum per workshop). Themes: biodiversity, human activities, and impacts of climate change.

Sunday, September 20, 2026
10 AM – 6 PM:
Presence and activities around the fishermen's huts and the Catalan boat exclusively by the association Els Mariners Cebrianencs
Interactions with the public and demonstrations of traditional skills.
