JULIEN LAPORTE PAINTING EXHIBITION

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Paris, Julien sets up his studio in Perpignan, where he cultivates an instinctive and luminous body of work, as a tribute to the entire South without borders.
In the manner of a contemporary fauvist, the artist captures landscapes and scenes of life. A quick, generous stroke of the pencil to grasp the elusive and a palette rich in colors.
Like an invitation to travel, wandering, contemplative, sometimes meditative, the artist shares his imagination with us.
In 2021, his vibrant oil pastel work inspired singer Joseph Chédid for the cover of his song "Guérir."
