URTICA
PERPIGNAN
About
Inspired by the stinging plant it is named after, the piece explores the form of the collective, without hierarchy, where energy flows and is shared in total engagement.
On stage, the performers shape a space from fragmented materials, arranging them to define a constrained field of action. Within this precise framework, movement arises from contact: grips, supports, projections.
The choreographic vocabulary, rooted in breakdance, combines acrobatic bursts, twists, and floor passages. The sound captures and amplifies the bodies in play, the impacts and breaths, transforming the stage into a living material.
