About
Organized in partnership with the French Swimming Federation, this open water swimming event is aimed at both licensed swimmers and non-licensed enthusiasts. Participants will have the choice between several distances: 500 meters, 1,000 meters, 2,500 meters (with or without fins), and 5,000 meters (with or without fins).
The events will take place on the central beach in front of the Théâtre de la mer, on marked courses and under the supervision of the sea rescue teams (SNSM). This will count as the 3rd stage out of 5 of the Regional Open Water Cup.
The starts will be given from 8 AM on Sunday, September 6, at the Théâtre de la mer. In case of bad weather, an alternative secure course is planned, and participants will be informed of the meeting location in due time.
