A true showcase of local agriculture, "THE FARM AT CANET" is a remarkable opportunity to highlight Catalan heritage and promote the agriculture of the region, its producers, and their dynamism throughout an entire weekend.
This large agricultural festival, favored by families, provides an ideal ground for communicating with the general public, raising awareness about agricultural practices, promoting the profession of farmer, and inspiring new vocations.
At the microphone, farmers will take turns sharing their production methods, the diversity of their sectors, the variety of tasks, and the specifics of their trades.
This family outing will allow everyone to discover, in an unusual seaside location, all the farm animals (pigs, sheep, lambs, poultry, calves, cows, bulls, horses, and donkeys…), explore various productions, and taste products from our Catalan terroir.
The large farmers' market located at the Théâtre de la Mer will offer a wide variety of local products (duck confit, farm charcuterie, meat, cheeses, eggs, honey, olive oil, essential oils, wines, fruit juices, seasonal fruits and vegetables,…)
