Exhibition "Bodies of Trades"

In the museum journey of the Maison des Métiers du Cuir in Graulhet, large paintings, sculptures, lighting, and sound installations coexist for an immersive experience that awakens the senses.
The exhibition places humans at the center of the artistic setup by showcasing benevolent representations of workers at work, with their bodies exposed, captured in their professional gestures. By inhabiting this place steeped in social history, "Bodies of Trades" proposes a dialogue between this site with a rich industrial past and the expression of a contemporary, sensitive, and sanctified vision of the working world, particularly that of tanneries and leather trades in Graulhet.
