On his canvases, a gallery of anthropomorphic figures comes to life: a mischievous frog, a stately giraffe, a dreamy monkey. All display distinct styles, ranging from punk to hippie to vintage, and thrive in settings where lush vegetation makes an appearance, amidst the concrete....
Behind these silhouettes, familiar attitudes, gazes, and very human emotions.

A self-taught artist fueled by the energy of the street, Stéphane Frey blends influences from Banksy, Salvador Dalí, Tamara de Lempicka, and Jean-Michel Basquiat to create a colorful and expressive universe. Between humor and observation of everyday life, his works offer a lively visual stroll, both quirky and deeply human.
