Monument Children's Game at Glanum

During the autumn holidays, the Glanum Archaeological Site invites you to a creative weekend! Join us on Saturday 17th, Sunday 18th, and Thursdays 22nd and 29th of October for the program: "Festival of Models" - Workshop

• Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October, first workshop at 10:00 AM, then a second at 1:00 PM and the last at 3:00 PM
  Come build a giant domus of 4m² and the baths of Glanum using small bricks.

Participate in the construction of a 1/10 scale model of a Roman house using thousands of small plastic bricks, as well as the baths of Glanum. Enhance them with door frames featuring their ancient locking systems, beams and floors, columns, and roofing. Decorate the floors with geometric mosaics. The final step is to place the small furniture (latrines, kitchen, beds, tables...) to define the use of each room.

A unique and fun opportunity to understand how people lived in Antiquity! Great family moments ahead.

• Thursday 22nd October at 2:00 PM: Mosaic Workshop - From 5 years old
  In the style of Roman mosaic artists, both young and old can create their mosaic using stone tesserae and take home their creation.

• Thursday 29th October at 2:00 PM: Honey Workshop, the Sugar of Antiquity - From 5 years old
  Come discover the magic of this ancient natural nectar, notably with the presence of a beehive and a beekeeper. We will then prepare a special recipe for Hydro-honey, of course, alcohol-free.
