SOUTHERNNESS AT CHILD'S HEIGHT

The Maison de l’Architecture Occitanie-Méditerranée is pleased to offer a workshop for children at the Halle Tropisme on the occasion of the exhibition "Southernness?" of the Albums des Jeunes Architectes et Paysagistes (AJAP) and Other Paths of Architecture in Occitanie!

How is architecture built in Occitanie and what makes it unique? The shapes, materials, and colors vary according to the territories and compose a rich and singular architectural landscape.

During the workshop, children are invited to observe, understand, and reinvent southern architecture. Through shapes, materials, and plays of shadow and light, they explore the connections between climate, lifestyles, and ways of building.

An invitation to discover southernness through architecture, to look at our environment differently, and to imagine the living spaces of tomorrow!
