Based on an original idea by Sara Jaleco
Dance anatomy, sound reverie
For very young audiences from birth
With Léandre Ruiz, Catherine Jauniaux, Sara Jaleco
The Belly of the Earth explores the idea of the body as a space of origin, an intimate and fundamental landscape, both welcoming, powerful, and in perpetual construction. In an atmosphere that is both experimental and reassuring, the artists offer a choreographic and sonic reverie around a reinvented, living, and moving body: two dancing beings and a musician emerge from a volcanic universe to explore, invent, and inhabit a world populated with imaginary organic forms, in a close resonance between movement and sound.
