On November 8th, the Montpellier Handball Endowment Fund invites the people of Montpellier to the first edition of The Montmaur Hill, a new sporting and solidarity event organized around the FDI Stadium and the Bois de Montmaur.
Through this initiative, the Endowment Fund aims to harness the unifying power of sport to raise awareness and take action against violence towards women. The funds raised during the event will contribute to financing support groups for women who have experienced or are experiencing situations of violence, in connection with the Family Planning.
Two courses in the heart of the Bois de Montmaur
Two formats will be offered to allow as many people as possible to participate in this first edition.
The 10 km, starting at 10:15 AM, will have runners complete four laps of a 2.5 km loop in the heart of the Bois de Montmaur.
The 5 km, starting at 9:00 AM, will follow the same route, with two laps of the 2.5 km loop.
The event village will be set up in parking P1 of the FDI Stadium, serving as the gathering and conviviality point for this morning dedicated to sport and solidarity.
Beyond the stopwatch and performance, The Montmaur Hill aims to bring together regular runners, occasional participants, supporters, businesses, associations, and local residents around a common cause.
Registrations are open online, with the option to choose between a "Run" package and a "Run + MHB Match" package, allowing participants to combine their participation with a Montpellier Handball match during the 2026-2027 season.
